Kyoto Chapter would like to announce that our long-standing officer Gretchen Clark, who has served multiple terms as both Program Chair and as President, has stepped down to pursue other life goals that she will no doubt achieve with aplomb. We had a short and heartfelt ceremony at the end of our January 19 event where the officers, along with everyone in attendance, expressed our sincere appreciation for all that she has done for our chapter and for JALT. Of course, farewell is not goodbye, and we hope to see Gretchen around at chapter events and elsewhere in JALT. Otsukare and congratulations to Samia Haseeb Khan for taking over as our new Program Chair.
