Applications now open for the 2026 Kyoto JALT First-Time Presenter Program

Kyoto JALT is looking for a Kyoto JALT member in good standing who has never presented at a JALT Annual International Conference and is not eligible for other funding. The successful applicant will be guaranteed an unvetted 25 minute short presentation slot at JALT2026, Friday November 20 – Sunday, November 22 at  WINC Aichi in Nagoya. Furthermore, Kyoto JALT will pay the conference fee for the successful applicant to attend the full conference. Before the conference, the winner will give their presentation at the Kyoto chapter Annual General Meeting immediately preceding the conference for feedback.

The deadline for applications is Monday, May 25, and the submissions will be vetted by the Kyoto JALT officer team. The successful applicant will be notified at the end of May.
